Thursday 8/23 on @BryanAlexander's #FTTE Forum: #collaboration & the CIO, with Brad Wheeler

This week  Future Trends Forum returns to the topic of inter-campus collaboration from a chief information officer's perspective via returning Forum guest,  Brad Wheeler, Vice President for IT and Chief Information Officer for Indiana University, as well as the leader of the Unizin collaborative.

Dr. Brad Wheeler leads university-wide IT services for IU's eight campuses. He has co-founded and led many multi-institutional collaborations with his current work focused on the Unizin Consortium, Kuali, and IU's mass Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative. Brad is also Vice President for Communications & Marketing for IU and is now a James H. Rudy Professor of Information Systems.  He recently served as the interim dean at IU's School of Informatics and Computing and on the board of IU Health Bloomington Hospital.  Brad is also a return guest to the Forum, having first appeared in 2016 when Unizin had just begun. I plan on asking Brad about where the Unizin project is going, and what he's learned about inter-campus collaboration.  I also hope to seek his views about the changing role of the campus CIO. More importantly, you will have the chance to ask your own questions. After all, the way the Forum works is that all attendees can ask our guests questions, engage and collaborate with other leaders in education technology, and also invite friends and colleagues to join.
