View the blues in the "Blue Stew" art exhibit while you treat your ears to the sounds of Amy Blackburn and Katie Gill of JeeZ La WeeZ fame...firey fiddle and dazzling guitar, great songwriting and harmonies! Hosted by Bonnie Bluhm
FREE - but any donations to musicians and/or OFFCenter are always appreciated!
The musical performance is a "Pass the Hat" production.

Kids' Open Studio
Tuesdays and Thursdays
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
June 19th - July 26th
OFFCenter will be open just for kids during the above times. Kids 15 and under can have full reign of the studio and its materials to create artwork in the medium of their choice! No need to make a reservation, just show up any or all of the days starting June 19th through July 26th.
All kids must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.

Jewelry/Metalsmithing Open Studio

Jewelry and Metalsmithing students,
Eva Leong Casey will be hosting a Jewelry and Metalsmithing open studio between noon and 2pm on Saturdays every 2 weeks through the summer for students (from past OFFCenter Jewelry/Metalsmithing classes) to practice and share knowledge with each other. This opportunity is intended for those with basic knowledge of the metalsmithing techniques taught in our Jewelry and Metalsmithing series so if you are interested please drop in and join the fun!
No reservation required but prior experience is needed to attend....

The 4 x 4 exhibit presents a myriad of miniature creations...all mediums, all 4" x 4"
Wed., June 20 - Wed. June 27
Call for submissions!
Bring your artwork to OFFCenter during our regular studio hours. All artists of all ages are invited to submit their artwork to this open-themed, non-juried community art exhibit.
All pieces can be any medium, but must be 4" x 4" square. Limited to 4 pieces per artist.
Opening Reception Friday, July 6th, 5 - 8 pm. Exhibit up through July 26th.
WOMYN'S Apron Making Workshops

Saturdays:
July 14th and 28th and August 4th and 11th
from 10:00 am -Noon.


BE PART OF THE APRON PROJECT! -- JOIN US FOR AN APRON WORKSHOP -- SPEAK OUT ABOUT WOMEN'S ISSUES BY PUTTING YOUR MESSAGE ON AN APRON TO BE DISPLAYED IN THE 2013 WOMYM'S APRON PROJECT INSTALLATION. AND/OR help make aprons to sell at the "We Art The People!" Folk Art Festival (Sun., Sept. 9th) to help raise money for installation expenses.

These free workshops are open to women who have sewing experience.
Materials provided.
If you have your own portable sewing machine, you may bring it.

FREE. YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND and you may register for as many classes as you would like, but we think you can create your apron in 2 sessions. Call 247-1172 or email: studio808@qwestoffice.net to register. Each workshop is limited to 6 participants.

We will be closed Tues., July 3rd & Wed., July 4th for the holiday.
We will also be closed Sat., July 21st all day for a special workshop.
