Greetings, Future Trends Forum friends! This week we'll explore the cutting edge of augmented, virtual, and mixed reality, in the company of the education world's leading experts.  On Thursday, July 22nd, from 2-3 pm EDT, we'll be joined by Maya Georgieva and Emory Craig, founders and principals of Digital Bodies, and co-authors of a new report, iLRN's State of XR 2021. Maya Georgieva is an EdTech strategist, author, and speaker with more than 15 years of experience in higher education. Maya is the Director, Digital Learning at The New School, where she leads innovation in the design of technology-enhanced learning and VR, AR, and Mixed Reality initiatives. She works to engage the community and provide strategic leadership in creating an institutional culture and capacity for innovative design with emerging technologies.  Emory Craig has 25 years of experience as an innovator and leader in the creative industries and higher education. He is currently the Director of eLearning at The College of New Rochelle, with responsibility for a wide range of technology initiatives. A Frye Fellow and frequent keynote speaker, he has written and presented extensively at both national and international conferences on innovation in the education, corporate and nonprofit sectors. Emory and Maya have also been brilliant and in-demand Forum guests in 2020, 2019, and 2018. I plan on asking Maya and Emory about what the iLRN report reveals about the reality of XR in higher education.  What are the best use cases?
